Although in the text of the document the dicision how to deal with radon has been postponed, Appendix A3: the application of optimisation for Radon exposure (p50-54) indirectly anticipates the decision. It is stated „the commission now recommends the use of dose constraints for radon exposure ... the upper levels of 600 Bq/m3 for homes and 1500 Bq/m3 for workplaces can now be seen as maximum constraints ...“. We suggest to delate appendix A3 at this point in time completely.
